About DIANE NUKURI

Diane Nukuri is an Olympic long distance runner from Burundi, who currently lives in Flagstaff. Diane is the true definition of a champion, having won at every level of competition, from junior races to professional events. She is a multiple Olympics Games qualifier and is proud to represent her nation in the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Some of Diane’s many highlights, include: Finishing first at the Big 10 Championships Cross Country 6K, 1st at the Outdoor Big 10 Championships 5000m, 1st at the Drake Relays 8K, 1st at the 5th Season 8K Cedar Rapids, 1st at the Dam to Dam 20K (setting a new course record), 1st at Alliant Energy 8K, 1st at Bay to Breakers 12K, 1st at Francophone Games 10,000m, 1st at Rock ‘n’ Roll Montreal Half-Marathon, 1st at New Balance Falmouth Road Race and 1st at Manchester Road Race. Diane is also a top ten finisher at the LA Marathon, Chicago and NYC Marathon.
